The falafel and shawarma are must-tries, packed with bold spices and served with perfectly grilled pita bread. The portions are generous, and the service is fast and friendly. when I have time I always order shawarma to go and eat it at home, I don't have a photo now, but I recommend this place, I order a chicken shawarma wrap, there is enough sauce even if it's 2 shawarmas, in some places they give very little sauce or none at all, only if you pay separately and if you order a lot, soft I've tried many different ones in different countries not only in the USA, there was a cruel lavash by the time you eat it you don't want this shawarma, there they wrap it in 2 lavash so that it weighs more and so that you don't have to put anything else inside, here it's at the highest level the employees know their business, I haven't tried their other dishes yet, but I will definitely try it next time

LOVE THIS PLACE! Been dining here since they opened up in Palatine 15 years ago! Last time I was here was June 2024! Anyway, I just finished eating a huge late afternoon take-out lunch just now (Saturday 5/3/2025)! For appetizers, I ordered 2 lentil soups, a 6-piece order of falafels, 1 muthawama (garlic dip), an order of stuffed grape leaves,and a Jerusalem Salad! For entrees, I ordered the beef & veggie platter and beef kufta platter! My order was ready on time and absolutely fresh and heartwarmingly delicious! Before taxes, my order was a little over 72. I left a 22% tip. So, with tax and tip, I spent a little over 96...which I'm totally fine with since I LOVE the food here, plus I LOVE leftovers and have been craving Mediterranean cuisine lately. Most of all, I missed dining here and missed their delicious entrees which include their amazing yellow/golden big-grained rice--best rice I've ever had, compared to all the nearby Middle Eastern restaurants, which all serve Basmati Rice (YAWN!) The place still has its dark wood interior and is still very clean! There were 3 or 4 couples happily dining in there, in their big cozy booths!

Absolutely love this place. I go here about 2-4x a week from how good the food, customer service and atmosphere are. Carlos is always welcoming when I come in and remembers my order by heart. He definitely deserves the appreciation he gets from other customers as well. Food comes out extremely fast and always fresh! I’d highly recommend this place

Used to be my everyday go-to diner around here when I worked nearby. Stopped by again for lunch and it was delicious! Fresh food definitely and the portion size for the price definitely left me and my wallet really satisfied :) also, the place is well maintained and clean, but the best part would be their food, music, and the vibes. 5/5!
